Salt Lake built a six-run cushion by the third, but El Paso kept chipping away. Tirso Ornelas sparked the comeback with a solo homer in the fourth, then the Chihuahuas put up four in the fifth on a Luis Campusano RBI single, an Ornelas double, and a two-run knock from Nate Mondou. In the sixth, Tim Locastro singled and Ripken Reyes reached on a bunt and an error, Clay Dungan shot a two-run single up the middle to tie it, stole second, and Yonathan Perlaza doubled him home for an 8-7 lead. The Bees answered to even it in the sixth, then Salt Lake tied it again in the eighth.
Campusano delivered late, lifting a solo homer in the eighth for a 9-8 edge. After the Bees pulled even again, El Paso finished the job in the ninth. Locastro doubled, pinch-hitter Rodolfo Durán ripped an RBI double to center, and Perlaza lined an insurance single to left for an 11-9 final.
Campusano went 2-for-5 with two runs, a homer, two RBI, and a walk. Ornelas added a homer, a double, two runs, and two RBI, and Perlaza doubled, singled, and drove in two. Dungan scored twice, reached three times, and swiped a bag.
Starter Matt Waldron worked five, allowing seven runs on nine hits, with one walk and four strikeouts. Bradgley Rodriguez handled the eighth with one inning, one run, one walk, and one strikeout, and Stephen Jones closed the ninth with one scoreless inning for the save.
Yost Fires Six, Gómez Ties It, Missions Drop Close One In Extras

San Antonio dropped a 2-1, 10-inning decision to Corpus Christi at Nelson Wolff Stadium. Eric Yost set the tone with six strong innings, allowing one unearned run on four hits, walking two, and striking out six. The Missions fell behind in the first, then chipped away and finally pulled even in the middle frames.
Moisés Gómez got things going with a second-inning double, but the scoring breakthrough arrived in the sixth. After Damon Dues drew a walk and Devin Ortiz singled, Braedon Karpathios worked a free pass to load the bases. Gómez grounded into a force at second, Dues crossed the plate, and San Antonio leveled the game at 1-1.
Out of the bullpen, Garrett Hawkins delivered 1 2/3 scoreless innings with one walk and two strikeouts. Harry Gustin followed with 2 1/3 innings, allowing one run, no walks, and three strikeouts. The Hooks pushed across the zombie runner with a two-out double in the tenth to take the lead.
The Missions mounted a final charge in their half of the tenth. With the zombie runner at second, Christopher Sargent punched a single to center to put runners on the corners. After a popout, Sargent swiped second, but a lineout ended the threat and the night.
Ortiz led the lineup at 2-for-4. Gómez finished 1-for-4 with an RBI, Dues scored and walked twice, and Romeo Sanabria added a single.
Rosario’s Two Doubles, Durfee’s Homer Highlight TinCaps In West Michigan

Fort Wayne fell 8-5 at West Michigan, but Eguy Rosario powered the TinCaps’ offense with two run-scoring doubles and three RBIs. After the Whitecaps jumped ahead with a three-run first, Fort Wayne answered in the second. Zach Evans and Kai Roberts singled, and Rosario shot a two-run double to left to cut the deficit to one.
Brendan Durfee kept the push going in the third, driving a pitch to right for a solo homer. The Whitecaps added on in the third and fifth, and a fifth-inning two-run swing pushed the margin to 7-3. In the seventh, Roberts lined a single, stole second, moved to third on a groundout, and scored on a wild pitch. The TinCaps added one more in the ninth when Rosario ripped his second double of the night to score Evans, bringing the final to 8-5.
Rosario finished 2-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs. Roberts went 2-for-4 with two runs and a stolen base, and Evans was 2-for-4 with two runs. Durfee went 1-for-3 with a walk and a homer.
Starter Ian Koenig worked five innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits, with two walks and three strikeouts. Nick Wissman followed with two innings, striking out three without a walk. Ruben Galindo recorded one inning with one run allowed, three walks, and two strikeouts.

Lake Elsinore jumped ahead in the first at San Manuel Stadium. Carlos Rodriguez singled, then after a walk and an error loaded the bases, a wild pitch brought Rodriguez home for a 1-0 lead. In the fourth, Ty Harvey drew a walk and moved to third on Truitt Madonna’s single, setting up Jorge Quintana’s sacrifice fly for a 2-1 advantage.
Inland Empire pulled even in the fifth on a triple to right. The Storm had more chances, but the score was locked going into extras. In the tenth, the 66ers advanced the zombie runner with a bunt, then ended it with a sacrifice fly.
Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with a run scored. Dylan Grego added a 2-for-5 night, and Quintana finished 1-for-1 with two walks and an RBI. Justin DeCriscio and Madonna chipped in singles.
On the mound, starter Jaxon Dalena worked two scoreless innings with one hit allowed, three walks, and two strikeouts. Kleiber Olmedo followed with 2 1/3 innings, allowing one run on two hits, no walks, and three strikeouts. Ryan Reed contributed 1 2/3 scoreless frames, and Landry Jurecka kept it level with 2 1/3 scoreless innings, one walk, and no strikeouts. Bernard Jose took the loss in the tenth, charged with an unearned run over 2/3 of an inning with one walk.
The Storm finished with eight hits, but the final run belonged to Inland Empire.
