Really interested to see how they handle Salas right away — especially whether they ease him in with select starts or let him catch meaningful innings immediately. Either way, getting him around the big league staff in September feels valuable, even if the bat takes some adjusting. Brito’s return is a nice add too. After that kind of arm surgery path, just getting back to the MLB roster is a big step, and the Padres can definitely use extra bullpen coverage with the expanded roster.
