Luis Campusano’s Two Homers, Yonathan Perlaza’s Blast Pace El Paso In 10–5 Win

El Paso set the tone immediately in Reno. After Tyler Wade singled, Luis Campusano launched a two-run homer to left-center in the first. The Chihuahuas broke it open in the third when Mason McCoy walked and Wade singled, Yonathan Perlaza ripped an RBI double, Tirso Ornelas lined a two-run single, and Tim Locastro added a run-scoring forceout for a 6–2 lead. Perlaza added a solo shot in the fourth, and the ninth brought insurance as Campusano belted his second homer, Ornelas doubled, Rodolfo Durán doubled home a run, and Clay Dungan lined an RBI single.
Campusano finished 3-for-5 with two home runs, three RBIs, and two runs. Perlaza went 2-for-5 with a double, a homer, two RBIs, and two runs. Ornelas tallied three hits, including two doubles, with two RBIs and two runs. Wade reached four times, going 2-for-3 with two walks and two runs, and Durán contributed a double, a walk, and an RBI. El Paso totaled 13 hits.
Starter Jackson Wolf earned the win, working five innings with three runs, two earned, three walks, and three strikeouts. Sean Reynolds handled the ninth with one inning, no runs, one walk, and no strikeouts, closing out the 10–5 victory. El Paso’s defense turned three double plays, including a game-ending turn to seal it.
Wilson’s Early RBI, Three Double Plays Not Enough For Missions In Tulsa

San Antonio struck first, but a five-run sixth by Tulsa sent the Missions to a 5–1 defeat at ONEOK Field. In the second, Devin Ortiz walked, stole second, then scored when Eli Wilson lined a two-out single to left. The Missions kept adding traffic through the middle innings, but could not cash in further.
Starter Eric Yost worked five innings, allowing five runs, four earned, with two walks and three strikeouts. Ethan Routzahn followed with one inning, giving up one hit and one walk with no runs. Stephen Jones recorded two scoreless innings with one hit, two walks, and one strikeout to finish the night.
Romeo Sanabria went 2-for-4, Marcos Castañon added two hits in five trips, and Wyatt Hoffman collected two singles. Wilson finished 1-for-4 with the lone RBI. San Antonio stole a pair of bases, one each from Ortiz and Moisés Gómez, and turned three double plays to limit further damage.
The Missions threatened throughout, loading the bases in the seventh and bringing the tying run to the on-deck circle in the ninth, but could not break through. San Antonio finished 2-for-13 with runners in scoring position and stranded 13 runners. Despite the loss, the pitching staff and defense produced several key outs, including the trio of double plays.
Costello’s Two-Run Single, Vastine’s Double Fuel Early Lead, But TinCaps Fall To West Michigan

Fort Wayne jumped in front in the second at Parkview Field. Brendan Durfee started the rally with a single to center, Zach Evans followed with a base hit, and Jonathan Vastine added a soft liner to left to load the bases. Jack Costello delivered the key swing, shooting a two-run single to center for a 2-1 TinCaps edge.
West Michigan answered with a four-run third, then added a tally in the seventh, and two more in the eighth. The TinCaps kept pushing. In the fifth, Vastine ripped a leadoff double, Costello was hit by a pitch, and Kai Roberts laid down a sacrifice bunt to move both runners up. Ryan Jackson brought in a run with a groundout to make it 5-3, but Fort Wayne could not close the gap, and was held scoreless in the second half of the game.
Starter Sam Whiting worked five innings for Fort Wayne, allowing five runs with two walks and four strikeouts. Bodi Rascon followed with two innings, yielding one run with one walk and one strikeout. The TinCaps turned another double play in the sixth, but West Michigan’s early lead proved decisive.
Rodriguez’s Go-Ahead Single, Fountain’s Sac Fly Lift Storm Over San Jose

Lake Elsinore turned a tie game into a late lead in the eighth, winning 4-2 at The Diamond. Kerrington Cross drew a walk to open the frame, Alex McCoy followed with a single, and Carlos Rodriguez shot a run-scoring single to center to put the Storm ahead. Moments later, Kale Fountain lifted a sacrifice fly to center, bringing home McCoy for insurance.
The Storm began their climb back in the fifth. After Fountain walked and Ryan Wideman reached on a forceout, Yoiber Ocopio lined a single to right to score Wideman and cut the deficit in half. Two innings later, Lake Elsinore pulled even when a wild pitch brought Rodriguez home, with Fountain stealing second and Ocopio working a walk to help apply pressure.
On the mound, Kannon Kemp opened and worked 1 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing one hit, with no walks and one strikeout. Braian Salazar took the bulk of the middle innings, covering 3 2/3 with two runs allowed (zero earned), one walk, and six strikeouts. Vicarte Domingo bridged the seventh with two scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out two, and Adam Conrad closed it out with two shutout frames, giving up one hit and striking out one.
Ocopio finished 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk, Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI, and a run, and McCoy added a hit and scored. Wideman contributed a hit, a run, and an outfield assist when he threw out a runner attempting to take third in the sixth. Fountain reached twice, stole a base, and logged a sacrifice fly.
