Will Wagner’s Three-Run Homer, Yonathan Perlaza’s Ninth-Inning Double Lift El Paso Past Reno

El Paso turned a tight game into a road win with a late rally at Greater Nevada Field. In the ninth, Tyler Wade led off with a ground-rule double, Yonathan Perlaza banged an RBI double to right, and Luis Campusano lined a run-scoring single to center. Tim Locastro pinch-ran for Campusano, stole second, and Sean Reynolds closed it with the final three outs for his third save.
Earlier, the Chihuahuas pushed across a second-inning run when Luis Campusano walked, Nate Mondou singled, and Trenton Brooks grounded into a forceout to score Campusano. Reno answered in the third, but El Paso surged back in the fourth. After Tirso Ornelas was hit by a pitch and Brooks singled, Cody Roberts added a single, Wade tied it with a forceout, then stole second, and Will Wagner crushed a two-out, three-run homer to right for a 5-2 lead. Reno pulled even in the sixth before El Paso’s ninth-inning response decided it.
Wagner went 2-for-5 with the home run and three RBIs. Campusano finished 2-for-3 with two walks and an RBI, and Perlaza added a 2-for-5 night with a double and an RBI. Roberts collected two hits, and Wade scored twice with a double and a steal.
Starter Matt Waldron worked five innings, allowing five runs with no walks and six strikeouts. Raul Brito followed with two scoreless innings, Alek Jacob struck out two in one inning for the win, and Reynolds finished the ninth with one walk and one strikeout.
Acuna, Fabian Collect Three Hits, Missions’ Early Burst Fades In Tulsa

San Antonio erupted for four runs in the first at ONEOK Field, then could not hold off Tulsa in an 8–5 setback. Ripken Reyes drew a walk to start things, then Francisco Acuna and Albert Fabian followed with singles, and the Missions strung together RBI knocks from Fabian, Marcos Castañon, and Moisés Gómez. Oswaldo Linares added a run-scoring single to cap the inning.
Acuna finished 3-for-3 with a walk and a sacrifice, Fabian went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Romeo Sanabria and Damon Dues collected two hits apiece. Reyes walked twice, stole his third base, and was ejected in the sixth, with Anthony Vilar taking over at second. Dues swiped his second bag. San Antonio totaled 13 hits and went 5-for-17 with runners in scoring position.
Jagger Haynes started and recorded two outs, allowing three runs on two hits, with two walks and two strikeouts. Jared Kollar provided bulk innings for the Missions, working 4 2/3 innings with three runs allowed, four walks, and four strikeouts.
The Missions pushed their fifth run across in the sixth on Fabian’s opposite-field RBI single, briefly extending their lead to two runs. Tulsa answered with three in the sixth and two in the seventh, including a run on a wild pitch.

Fort Wayne fell 5-1 to West Michigan at Parkview Field, scratching across a late run. The TinCaps were held to two hits, with Kasen Wells providing one of them, then driving in the lone run on a sacrifice fly in the eighth after Ryan Jackson drew a walk and moved into scoring position. Jack Costello added the other Fort Wayne hit.
Starter Isaiah Lowe took the loss, working four innings and allowing four runs on nine hits, with three walks and two strikeouts. He yielded a homer in the third as West Michigan built its lead to three. Ruben Galindo followed with two innings, giving up one run with one walk and three strikeouts. Josh Mallitz delivered two scoreless frames with three strikeouts, and Eiker Huizi finished the ninth with one inning, two walks, and no runs.
After Jackson’s eighth-inning walk, the TinCaps loaded the bases, and Wells lifted a sacrifice fly to center to bring Jackson home. Jonathan Vastine drew a walk to reload the bases, but a forceout ended the rally.
McCoy Steals Home, Tears Collects Two Hits, But Storm Fall To San Jose In Blowout

Lake Elsinore struck first in the opening inning when Alex McCoy singled, stole second, then stole home on a throwing error to put the Storm up 1-0. Kavares Tears also reached with a walk in the frame and swiped second as the early pressure mounted at The Diamond.
That was the end of positive events for the Storm.
San Jose flipped the game with a six-run fifth, then added six more in the ninth. Tears led a weak offensive effort, going 2-for-3 with a double in the sixth, and McCoy finished 1-for-3 with a walk and two steals. B.Y. Choi added two hits and a stolen base, and Kale Fountain chipped in a single. Ryan Wideman drew two walks.
Starter Maikel Miralles worked 4 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on nine hits, with no walks and two strikeouts. Jordan Valenzuela turned in the club’s most effective relief stint, tossing 2 1/3 scoreless frames with one walk and four strikeouts.
Lake Elsinore’s best attempt came in the sixth, when Tears doubled and Wideman walked, but both were stranded. The Storm were held to six hits on the night as San Jose pulled away
