Dennis Lin of The Athletic is reporting that Bud Black and Wil Myers will be joining the San Diego Padres organization. Myers will be a special assignment coach in player development, and Black will be a senior advisor to baseball operations. Both have previous ties to the organization - Black as a manager and Myers as a player. Black managed the club for 9 seasons from 2007 to 2015, posting a 649-713 record with zero playoff appearances.
