Superstar closer Mason Miller was activated off the paternity list after his wife gave birth on Tuesday. Manager Craig Stammen said "everything went well" with the birth. Left-hander Wandy Peralta was removed from the roster. Peralta was not used in Game 3. The Padres won Game 3 4-3 and trail the best-of-five series against the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1. As for left-hander Adrian Morejon, Stammen said the team had yet to see him report to the clubhouse to see how he was feeling and to evaluate his availability for Wednesday's Game 4. Morejon has not pitched since going two innings in Game 1. Stammen said postgame Tuesday that Morejon had "stickiness" in his left shoulder. On Wednesday, Stammen said Morejon felt slightly better following the game than he did beforehand. Miller and Morejon have been the top bullpen pair in MLB this season, but both took losses in the two games in Milwaukee. View full rumor
