Steve Drumwright Padres Mission Editor Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The San Diego Padres will indeed have a third prospect in the Fall Stars Game. Shortstop Justin DeCriscio was voted into the Arizona Fall League's all-star game, beating out two Los Angeles Dodgers for the final spot in Sunday's game. The Fall Stars Game will be Sunday at 5 p.m. PT on MLB Network. DeCriscio joins outfielder Alex McCoy and right-handed starter Kannon Kemp in the Fall Stars Game for the NL team. All three play for the Peoria Javelinas. McCoy is the No. 2 seed for Saturday's Home Run Derby. View this post on Instagram A post shared by MLB’s Arizona Fall League (@mlbazfallleague) DeCriscio is slashing .245/.362/.490 through Friday's games with three homers and 14 RBIs. Two of those homers and six of those RBIs came in a single game last week as DeCriscio hit a grand slam. On a team filled with other top prospects, DeCriscio has seen plenty of action at shortstop, as with second base being his secondary position. He also has a game at third. Meanwhile, McCoy will square off against Aaron Parker of the Toronto Blue Jays in the eight-player Home Run Derby, which begins Saturday at 5:30 p.m. View full rumor
