Right-handed reliever Tucker Musgrove, Padres Mission's No. 14 prospect, has been promoted to Double-A San Antonio, according to ESPN's Kiley McDaniel. At Low-A Fort Wayne this season, the 6-foot-1 24-year-old has appeared in 19 games and posted a 3.79 ERA with 40 strikeouts and 13 walks in 19 innings. Musgrove pitched in his final game for the TinCaps on Sunday, retiring all four batters he faced, including two strikeouts. Musgrove has tantalizing stuff, reaching triple-digits with his four-seam fastball and sinker just a few ticks below that. He also mixes in a sweeper and a slider.
